Your Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Malaga

Collect your car at Malaga Airport and begin your self-drive adventure!

Venture into the centre of Malaga to enjoy the Museums, restaurants, historic places or the port.

You will stay in Torremolinos close to Malaga. This beach resort offers something for everyone from golden sand beaches to water sports and beach-front dining whilst only being 35 minutes away from the culture and shops of Malaga city.

Cable Car Benalmádena:

If you have a head for heights, then make sure you don’t miss this stunning cable car ride to the top of Mount Calamorro, enjoying stunning views over the coast and mountains of Benalmadena during the climb.

This 3km cable car ride takes you to the top of the mountain, some 800 metres above sea level at an average speed of 5 metres per second.

From there, you to climb effortlessly to the summit and one the most privileged viewpoints in the Costa del Sol. The spectacular climb takes about 15 minutes in comfortable, modern cars, carrying a maximum of up to four people.

From the summit there are unparalleled views of the Costa del Sol, the Sierra Nevada and on clear days, Gibraltar and the north African coast.

You will also be able to enjoy exhibitions with birds of prey, including hawks, eagles, owls and vultures, as well as the possibility of trying adventure sports or of following almost 3km of signposted hiking trails that lead to more locations offering views before a relaxing ride back down to the marina.

Malaga

Days 2 - 3 | Granada

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting your drive to the beautiful city of Granada.

You have two days at leisure to explore the historical city of Granada and its greatest treasure, the elaborate Alhambra Palace. For more than a thousand years, this ‘pearl set in emeralds’ has stood proudly overlooking the city with it's cool patios, fountains and intricate carvings.

Stroll over to the Generalife Palace and its lush gardens, where the Nasrid Emirs retreated during the summer heat, and hear the soothing sound of the water running in channels.

Cross the verdant ravine of the River Darro to the historic Albaicin quarter which has existed since Moorish times. Explore the sensitively preserved narrow cobblestone alleys of tightly packed white-washed houses and enjoy the numerous vantage points offering breathtaking views of the Alhambra nestled under the Sierra Nevada.

The Alhambra is located on a once inaccessible hill overlooking the city’s most ancient neighbourhoods and the valley of the River Darro. It was originally built as a fortress in 899 before being converted into a Royal Palace by Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada.

Your guide will show you around the Royal Palace Complex with its Harem as well as the Court of the Myrtles with its large pond used for cooling the buildings in the summer heat.

One of the world’s most beautiful buildings, no trip to Granada would be complete without visiting the Alhambra.

With carefully decorated and illuminated scenery, as well as a stage strategically laid out for unobstructed vision, a minimum of six highly professional flamenco artists unleash their talent under the careful direction of Antonio Vallejo, director of the Municipal School of Flamenco in Granada.

Day 4 | Cordoba

The UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) recognised in 1994 the universal importance of Cordoba's historic legacy, and extended the title of World Heritage Site not only to the Mosque Cathedral, but also to all the streets and buildings around it. In addition, in December 2012, Cordoba was awarded a further accolade: The Festival of the Patios (Courtyards) was added to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity sites.

Days 5 - 6 | Seville

Continue to the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, whose glorious Giralda belfry is Seville’s most iconic symbol. Explore secluded Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter and today the most traditional neighbourhood in the old town. In the evening, you can visit to a pulsating flamenco show.
